Specific learning disability (SLD) is a neurological condition in which a child's academic performance doesn't match their intellectual potential. At Udaan, we identify where this gap lies in the nervous system—whether it's in visual processing or auditory memory.

Dyslexia (Reading)

Difficulty with phonemic awareness and word recognition. We use multi-sensory Orton-Gillingham methods.

Dyscalculia (Math)

Challenges in grasping "number sense." We utilize concrete-representational-abstract (CRA) tools.

Dysgraphia (Writing)

Challenges with spatial spacing and motor-memory required for fluent, legible writing.

Auditory Processing

Difficulty making sense of sounds, especially in noisy or high-distraction classroom environments.

Multi-Sensory Remediation (VAKT)

We teach using Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic, and Tactile pathways together to help the brain “stabilize” information through multiple senses.
